Privacy policy

Short version: Dave’s Tab has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and nothing about you is sold or shared for advertising. Almost everything stays on your phone. The one exception is a record of purchases, explained below.
What stays on your phone
Your name, your crew’s names, their pieces and colors, who’s single or taken, your stats, your past tabs, the charges you write in Dave’s Court and your sound and haptics settings. They’re only used to run the games and to stop Dave repeating himself. They never leave the phone, and we can’t see them.
A list of which paid games have had their free taste, so each one is only free once. It’s stored in the phone’s keychain, so it lasts after deleting the app. It holds game names and nothing about you.
Purchases
Purchases are made and processed by Apple. We never see your name, email, Apple ID or payment details. Apple’s handling is covered by Apple’s privacy policy ↗.
To keep the books straight and to help if a purchase goes wrong, a record of what this phone bought is kept by RevenueCat, a payments service that works for us. The record holds your support ID, the games bought, their prices, dates and Apple’s transaction numbers, the country of your App Store, and the app, phone model and iOS version. RevenueCat doesn’t use it for advertising and doesn’t collect your phone’s advertising or device identifiers. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy ↗.
Your support ID
A random code made on your phone, shown in Settings under Help. It isn’t linked to your name, email or Apple ID. It’s how the purchase record above is filed, and it’s how we find it when you contact us. It’s kept in the keychain so it stays the same after reinstalling the app. Deleting your account replaces it with a new one.
Sign in with Apple
Optional. Nothing in the app needs it. If you use it, Dave keeps only the anonymous identifier Apple provides, in your phone’s keychain. No email, no server. You can stop it any time in the Settings app, under your name, Sign-In & Security, Sign in with Apple.
Emailing us
If you email support, we get your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, and we’ll delete the conversation if you ask.
Deleting your data
In Settings, Delete my account erases everything on this phone listed above, except the free-taste list, and gives you a new support ID. Deleting the app does the same for everything but the keychain items.
To have the purchase record kept by RevenueCat deleted as well, email swequent@gmail.com with your support ID and we’ll delete it within 30 days. Apple keeps its own record of what your Apple ID bought, so Restore purchases still works afterwards.
Age
Dave’s Tab is only for adults aged 18 or over. We don’t knowingly hold any information about children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be in the app and on the website with a new date at the top. We’ll never start collecting more without saying so here first.
